We have an Itinerary

We recieved the official travel letter from China yesterday which also included all of the in China details of our trip. Here's a few of the highlights:

• We arrive in Beijing on Nov. 5th in the afternoon
• The 5th to the 8th we will see Tiananmen Square, The Great Wall, an acrobat show, and other sites
• We fly from Beijing to Guangzhou on the morning of the 9th
• We receive Katie in the afternoon on the 9th
• From the 9th to the 19th we complete paperwork and appointments in order to bring Katie home
• On the 20th we fly fom Guangzhou to Shanghai, from Shanghai to San Fransisco and then to Seattle

 The adventure begins next Wednesday. We have so much to do before then, but we can hardly contain the excitement. The posts should start coming more frequently (daily) starting around next Wednesday. China - here we come!

 

Prayer Requests

We are in full preparation mode for our trip to China. We recieved our travel visas yesterday. Our trip starts exactly two weeks from today! Please pray for the following:

• All of the details that we need to take care of before we leave (there are a lot)
• Safe travel
• Ellie for comfort and safety at home while we're gone
• Katie's transition to her new family
• Health during travel
• Sleep deprivation on many fronts
• Ellie's adjustment to a new sister
• Peace

Travel Approval!

We are going to China! We just received our Travel Approval today! We will leave on the 4th of November and return on the 20th of November with our little girl. We are so excited to bring her home.
